Terms of Use
Operated by: Rock Star Wedding Dance LLC
Effective date: November 6, 2026
1. Who we are
Rockstar Wedding Dance is the website and brand operated by Rock Star Wedding Dance LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”), a Minnesota limited liability company. The site publishes articles, song guides, tools, and other wedding dance preparation resources.
2. Dancing involves risk
Dancing is physical activity, and like any physical activity it carries foreseeable risks. Those risks include slips and falls, loss of balance, collisions with a partner or objects, joint injuries and twisting, muscle strains and sprains, problems caused by unsuitable footwear or flooring, overexertion, and aggravation of pre-existing conditions. Practicing on your own, without an instructor present, carries the additional risk that nobody is there to correct you or to help if something goes wrong.
All content on this site is for general information only and is not a substitute for professional instruction, medical advice, or personal safety judgment. You are responsible for your own readiness, your practice space, your footwear, and your decision to participate, and you should stop and seek appropriate help if you feel pain, dizziness, or other warning symptoms.
By using this site, you agree that you participate voluntarily, that you are solely responsible for your safety, and that you assume the inherent risks of dancing described above.
This section does not release us from liability for our own negligence. Where a product or service involves physical instruction, including video courses, personalized feedback, and in-person lessons, participation is governed by the separate Participation Agreement you accept before taking part, and that agreement, not this section, contains the release language that applies to participation.
3. Informational purposes only; no guarantees
We work hard to publish useful, accurate, practical content. However, we cannot guarantee that our guides, song recommendations, or instructions are complete, accurate, or appropriate for your specific situation. You should use your own judgment, consult a qualified professional or dance instructor where appropriate, and adapt any guidance to your needs.
Our articles, guides, scores, and products are general education and one instructor’s professional opinion, not a promise of a particular result. Dance outcomes vary by couple, practice, and circumstances. Use the material as a starting point and apply your own judgment.
Individualized services, such as a paid song analysis or personalized feedback on your practice video, apply that professional opinion to the information and material you provide. They are still opinion, not a guarantee of any outcome, and they are not medical advice, physical clearance, or a substitute for working with an instructor who can see you in person.
4. Intellectual property
All text, song analyses, videos, graphics, the Rockstar Edition scorecard presentation, and downloads on this site are our intellectual property or are used under license. Short quotations and fair use for private study or review are permitted where the law allows.
You may view and use the content for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or republish our content without our prior written permission, except for limited fair-use purposes or short extracts with proper attribution.
Paid materials are licensed to the customer who bought them, for that customer’s personal use. You may not share your account or credentials, redistribute, resell, record for distribution, or give away paid materials, and you may not use our materials, including our song analyses and the Rockstar Edition scorecard presentation, to provide a competing commercial service. These terms protect our actual materials and their presentation. They do not claim ownership of general dance concepts, steps, ideas, or teaching methods, which anyone may use.
We refer to songs, artists, albums, and films by name to identify and comment on them. Those names and titles, and the recordings themselves, belong to their respective owners; no endorsement is implied, and no ownership is claimed. Our analysis of a song is commentary about it. It is not a copy of the recording, and these terms give you no rights in any song or recording.
5. Your submissions
If you send us material (form answers, messages, links, or video), you keep ownership of it. You give us permission to receive, view, store, process, and use it for the purpose you sent it for and to keep our business records. That permission extends to the service providers and contractors who work for us and need to handle the material to deliver the service, and to no one else. We will not publish or use your material in marketing without your separate written consent.
We keep submitted material only as long as we need it for the purpose you sent it and for reasonable business records, and then we delete it. For practice videos sent for feedback, our working policy is deletion within 30 days after your feedback is delivered. The Privacy Policy describes retention in more detail.
You may only send material you have the right to share. If your material shows other people, you confirm you have their permission to send it to us for this purpose. Do not send material, songs, or videos you have no right to share.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site. This includes scraping content at scale, attempting to disrupt or harm the site or its users, submitting spam or false information, sharing account credentials, recording or redistributing paid content beyond your personal use, or using the site for unlawful purposes. We may restrict access if we believe you have misused the site.
7. Third-party links and embeds
Our site may link to or embed content from third-party websites and services (for example, music platforms). Embedded videos and audio are delivered by those platforms from their own copies; we do not reproduce or distribute the recordings we write about. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of those third parties, and you access them at your own risk. If you follow a link to a third-party site, the terms and policies of that site apply.
8. Limitation of liability
Rock Star Wedding Dance LLC provides educational content and products. Except where a law or a separate written agreement states otherwise: (1) For claims that do not involve bodily injury or property damage, our total liability arising from your use of the site or any purchase is limited to the amount you paid us for the product or service involved, and neither we nor you are liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential economic damages. (2) Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for bodily injury or property damage except as separate Participation Terms lawfully provide; nothing limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or fraud; and nothing limits liability where a law prevents it. (3) If any part of this section is held unenforceable, the rest continues, and the unenforceable part is read down to the smallest change that makes it enforceable.
For clarity: this section sets no dollar cap on bodily injury or property damage claims, and it does not govern them. Claims arising from physical participation are addressed by the Participation Agreement framework described in section 2. Nothing in this section creates or implies a separate bodily-injury cap.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any third-party claims, damages, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees where the law allows recovery of them, arising from your misuse of the site, your violation of these Terms, or material you submitted that you did not have the right to share.
This section does not make you responsible for our own negligence, and it does not apply to claims arising from your ordinary use of the site or our products as intended.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms waives any consumer protection that the law of your home state or country gives you and does not allow to be waived.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page, apply prospectively, and your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms for your site use. Changes do not alter a purchase or enrollment you already made; purchases are governed as section 12 provides. If a change materially affects an existing paid enrollment, we will present it for your affirmative acceptance rather than applying it by posting alone.
12. How these terms apply
These terms are posted on this page and linked in the site footer. Each of our documents governs its own subject:
- Participation Terms govern physical participation in instructional products and lessons, including risk and release, for the people taking part.
- Terms of Sale govern purchases and enrollments, including payment, delivery, access, and refunds.
- These Terms of Use govern general use of this site and its content.
- The Privacy Policy governs how we handle personal information.
If two documents conflict on the same subject, the document listed first for that subject controls. No document overrides a protection the law does not allow to be waived, and nothing in any of our documents makes an unenforceable waiver enforceable.
